The successful design of a controller for jets in crossflow is possible only if a model can be identified which is able to capture the dynamics of the flow processes. The size of the controller, however, is a crucial parameter in any engineering application because of the amount of hardware and computer power necessary to compute a real-time. The aerospace engineer is primarily concerned with the design, analysis, testing, and overall operation of vehicles which operate in air and space. The curriculum is designed to provide the student with an education in the fundamental principles of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, propulsion, structural mechanics, flight controls, design, testing.
